You can also catch us on our last Know Your Author episode for February 2022 - John Gray, a relationship expert and author of Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus.
Sally Helgesen
Sally Helgesen, cited in Forbes as the world’s foremost expert on women’s leadership, is a best-selling author, international speaker and leadership coach. She has been named by Thinker’s 50 as one of the world’s top 20 coaches and was ranked number 6 among the world’s top 30 leadership and thought leaders by Global Gurus. She has also been honoured by the coaching consortium MEECO for her transformational influence on organisational culture. In 1990, Helgesen published "The Female Advantage: Women’s Ways of Leadership", the first book to focus on what women had to contribute as leaders rather than how they needed to change and adapt. The book became a best-seller and has remained in print. In 1995, Helgesen published "The Web of Inclusion: A New Architecture for Building Great Organizations", heralded as having introduced the language of inclusion into the work environment. The book was regarded as one of the best books on leadership by the Wall Street Journal. Sally’s most recent book, "How Women Rise", co-authored with the legendary executive coach Marshall Goldsmith, examines the behaviours most likely to get in the way of successful women. It became the best-seller in its field within a week of publication and, to date, has been sold in 18 languages.
