We’ll begin the second half of our review of Malcolm Gladwell's Outliers, which focuses heavily on legacy, by once again saying how profound we've found the book to be — so simple, and yet so easy to miss the evident deductions from Malcolm.  Discovery Shoppe Book Club comes up with two thought-provoking book reviews per month. Book Review - Outliers #1

Malcolm Gladwell’s book, Outliers: The Story of Success , is one of his most popular pieces. He kicks off the first chapter titled "The Matthew Effect" with an incredible discovery by Roger Barnsley, a Canadian Psychologist, who stumbled upon a pattern in young Canadian hockey players that revealed that an overwhelming number of these hockey players were born in the first quarter of the year (January, February, and March), while very few were born in the last quarter of the year (October, November, and December). Welcome to Episode 3 of the Know Your Author Series from Discovery Shoppe Book Club 😁😇 We had quite a blast learning about Ed Catmull and Amy Wallace , the authors of our book for May, Creativity, Inc . It was fun to see Amy Wallace's reaction to our post on Twitter. In fact, we were jubilant in the book club 😅 😁 . This June, we read Outliers: The Story of Success by Malcolm Gladwell. Sit tight to Know Your Author! We observed that it is more interesting to read a book and finish it 😅 when you know a thing or two about the author(s).
